Demoted Hungarian Chief Takes Sick Leave

BUDAPEST, Hungary — President Karoly Nemeth, 66, who was recently demoted from two key political posts, has gone on sick leave, the state news agency MTI reported Friday. It said that Vice President Rezsoe Trautmann will function as president while Nemeth is absent.
