County Volleyball Team Wins 2 at Notre Dame

Laurie Jones of Seal Beach had 20 kills as the California Juniors won two matches Thursday in an international volleyball tournament at the University of Notre Dame.
The California Juniors, out of Orange County, defeated Sports Performance (Wheaton, Ill.), 15-12, 16-14, 6-15, 15-4, and then swept Circus Elite (Schaumburg, Ill.), 15-10, 15-12, 15-11.
California is 2-0 in American pool play.
