House of Fabrics Investor Reduces His Stock to 6%

New Jersey investor Myron M. Kaplan has sold 72,800 shares of his stock in House of Fabrics for more than $1.3 million, decreasing his stake in the Sherman Oaks chain of fabric stores to 6%, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filings.
According to the filings, Kaplan, a former House of Fabrics director, sold the shares for $18.50 to $18.62 each. He previously owned about 7% of the company’s stock.
