Western Union Corp. reported a second-quarter loss of $3 million, compared to a loss of $990,00 a year ago. Revenue for the Upper Saddle, N.J., communications company was $2.3 million, up 10%. The year-ago results included a gain from an asset sale and income from a litigation settlement, but did not include revenue from the former ITT World Communications Inc., which was acquired by Western Union on Dec. 30, 1987.
