Local News in Brief : Burbank Train Victim Identified as Deaf Man

Burbank police said Tuesday that a man fatally injured when he was hit by a train Monday was deaf and could not hear the engineer’s warning whistle.
Police identified the dead man as Enrique T. Rodriquez, 78, of Burbank, who was hit by an Amtrak train while walking on the Victory Place railroad crossover near Lake Street.
