Quality Systems of Tustin reported that net income for its first quarter ended June 30 dropped to $10,200 from $248,400 for the year-earlier quarter. Revenue fell 13% to $2.3 million from $2.7 million. The company attributed the revenue decrease to a lower average computer system sales price. The $238,200 reduction in earnings was primarily attributable to the sales price decline and higher-than-usual increases in wage rates and medical insurance premiums, the company said. Quality Systems sells computerized information processing systems to medical and dental group practices.
