Van Nuys 14, Poly 7--Van Nuys running back William Grandi scored 2 touchdowns, including a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter, to help the Wolves win at Poly.
Van Nuys linebacker David Melody recovered Eddie Lopez’s fumbled snap a minute into the fourth quarter to set up Grandi’s game-winning score. Grandi also scored on a 1-yard run in the second quarter.
Poly scored in the first quarter when Lopez hit Ed Guerrero with a 13-yard pass.
Van Nuys quarterback Keith Quigley completed 10 of 19 for 162 yards and threw 1 interception.
