The construction industry political committee opposing four slow-growth initiatives on Tuesday’s ballot has raised an additional $115,000 for its campaign effort, according to documents filed Thursday with the county registrar of voters.
The contributions bring San Diegans for Regional Traffic Solutions’ total campaign budget to $1.77 million, most of it donated by land developers and allied businesses.
The builders reported collecting seven contributions of more than $1,000 Wednesday, including $110,000 from BCE Development of Newport Beach. Five other companies donated $1,000 each.
Contributions of $1,000 or more collected after the Oct. 27 financial disclosure date must be reported to the registrar’s office within 24 hours.
