Before departing Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport after a treaty-signing ceremony, President Reagan called Coach Mike Ditka of the Chicago Bears at Lake Forest Hospital, where Ditka is recovering from a mild heart attack. He is listed in fair condition.
“I just happened to be in the area, Mike, and wanted to give you a call,” said Reagan, from Air Force One.
