Latino Theatre Lab Gets Grant of $200,000

The Los Angeles Theatre Center’s Latino Theatre Lab has been awarded a $200,000 grant from the Ford Foundation, according to artistic producing director Bill Bushnell.
The 3-year grant will be used to expand the activities of the lab and commission 11 new Latino plays to be written by lab members. The financing will also support the training of another Latino director and the hiring of a lab administrator/marketing director.
