CS Northridge, Clippers Meeting Delayed
A meeting scheduled for Friday between Cal State Northridge administrators and officials from the Los Angeles Clippers professional basketball team has been postponed until later this month, said Eliott Minninberg, a CSUN administrative vice president.
Minninberg cited a conflict of schedules for the change of plans. On the agenda were informal talks regarding the Clippers’ use of an arena that has been proposed for construction on the Northridge campus.
Earlier Friday, a group of Anaheim businessmen announced that they had offered Clipper owner Donald Sterling $30 million to move the team to Anaheim as soon as a 20,000-seat arena is completed.
