DALLAS — Sterling Software Inc. said the General Services Board of Contract Appeals has directed the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to reopen bidding on a contract Sterling claimed was unfairly awarded to another bidder.
Sterling said it filed a protest last December.
The contract is for a three-year base period and two one-year options to provide software services at the NASA/Ames Research Center in Mountain View, Calif.
Sterling said the value of the five-year contact could be about $24 million for the first 12 months.
