Heavyweight Dee Collier (11-8, six knockouts) of Los Angeles will fight Bobby Crabtree of Ft. Smith, Ark., in tonight’s 10-round main event at The Country Club in Reseda. The winner has been promised a title bout against California heavyweight champion Lionel Washington.
Crabtree, who was knocked out in the third round of his last fight by former World Boxing Assn. heavyweight champion Mike Weaver, is 33-19-1 with 22 knockouts. The first bell rings at 7:30.
