Charles C. Reed has been named to the newly created position of executive vice president and director of marketing at H. F. Ahmanson & Co., Los Angeles, and its subsidiary, Home Savings of America. Reed, 55, will continue as president of the company’s subsidiary, Ahmanson Marketing Inc.
