Joyner Is Named Angel of the Week

Wally Joyner, who batted .438 (seven for 16) during the past week to raise his batting average from .254 to .269, is The Times’ Orange County Edition Angel of the Week.

The Times will donate $200 in Joyner’s name to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Orange County.
