Supreme Court OKs Abortion Limits
Since the right-to-lifers have a legitimate concern for the rights of the unborn, and the pro-choice people have a legitimate concern for the rights of women to control their own bodies, how about a compromise? If a fetus is “viable” (able to live outside the womb) after the first three months, then why not simply ban all non-emergency abortions after the first trimester and make no effort to restrict abortions before that time. This would preserve a woman’s right to control her own body, and also appease the “right-to-lifers” by saving all “viable” fetuses.
