Owens-Illinois Ordered to Sell Unit: A Federal Trade Commission administrative law judge ordered Owens-Illinois Inc. of Toledo, Ohio, to sell Brockway Inc., a company for which it paid $750 million a year ago in a merger. He found that the merger of the former second- and third-largest glass container manufacturers has reduced competition in the industry and could lead to price fixing. The decision is subject to review by the five-member commission, and Owens-Illinois said it will appeal.
