Baddies, beware. Two new crime fighters turn up on the small screen this week.
In “Campion,” a new “Mystery!” series premiering Thursday on PBS, Peter Davison plays the title role as Margery Allingham’s charming 1930s detective. On the two-part debut airing at 9 p.m. on Channels 28 and 15, Campion investigates the death of an old school chum.
On Friday at 10 p.m. (Channels 4, 36 and 39), Robert Loggia stars in NBC’s new action series, “Mancuso FBI.” In the hourlong show, Loggia reprises his role from last year’s “Favorite Son” miniseries as ornery FBI agent Nick Mancuso.
