Thirteen women dancing in bikinis and G-strings were arrested when vice deputies raided an underground Windsor Hills nightclub early Saturday, deputies said.
The raid culminated a three-month investigation that began with an anonymous tip to sheriff’s deputies that the club was generating “lewd acts and prostitution activities,” Deputy Roger Hom said.
The club was located on the second floor of a building on West Slauson Avenue, above a furniture upholstery store and a barber shop, Hom said.
Undercover deputies arrested 12 women on suspicion of lewd conduct and a 13th for alleged solicitation of prostitution.
The women were jailed and bail was set at $500 each.
The women apparently were entertaining about 30 to 40 men who had paid a cover charge at the door, Hom said.
“The women in bikinis and G-strings were dancing in front of the customers and performing lewd acts,” Hom said.
Hom said alcohol was served, but it was not immediately known whether the club had a liquor license.
