COUNTYWIDE : Nominations Sought for Hall of Fame

Orange Coast College is searching for nominations for its Alumni Hall of Fame.
The hall, sponsored by the college Alumni Assn. and the Associated Students, honors former students for their achievements in a variety of fields.
Nominations for 1990 should be sent to Douglas Bennett, director of institutional advancement, at the college, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa, Calif. 92628-5005.
Nominees must have enrolled in their first Orange Coast classes before 1981, and they need not be graduates of the school.
The deadline for nominations is Jan. 31, 1990. The college will have its eighth annual Alumni Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in September.
Inductees include boxing champion Carlos Palomino, novelist Clive Cussler, actor William Katt, Orange County Sheriff Brad Gates, pitcher Dan Quisenberry, stage director David Emmes, neurosurgeon James T. Goodrich, Superior Court Judge John J. Ryan, Olympic gold medalist Steve Timmons, university professor Will D. Gillett, bank president Dennis Fitzpatrick and television writer Judy Burns.
