HEARINGS: Charges flying in Washington about the demise of the Irvine-based Lincoln Savings & Loan (D1) can now be seen on the cable network C-SPAN. . . . Today’s House Banking Committee hearing will be on the air at 7 a.m. with a rebroadcast sometime this evening. . . . A spokesman said the cable service has received an “abundance” of requests for coverage from Orange County, where “people tend to be politically active--much higher than average.”
