IT’S A BIRD: The same Superman costume that drew $46,000 at a Los Angeles auction (F4) was bought a few years ago for $3,500 from Cal State Fullerton. . . . University archivist Sharon Perry said the shirt and cape worn by TV’s Superman were sold to generate revenue. “It was rather moth-eaten, actually,” Perry said. “It didn’t look like much.” Auction officials believe there are four Superman costumes in existence from the landmark 1950s series.
