NEW YORK — Two television networks plan brief special reports on today’s state and local elections.
ABC will interrupt programming when returns from major races become available, then give more coverage in the 30-minute “Nightline” show at 11:30 p.m., spokeswoman Elise Adde said.
NBC will air a 15-minute report, “Decision ‘89,” at 11:30 p.m., spokeswoman Katherine McQuay said. CBS plans to report on the elections in its regular news broadcasts, with up to an hour of coverage on “Nightwatch,” which airs at 1:35 a.m.
