El Toro Remains No. 1, Will Face Capistrano Valley

El Toro High School will face its biggest test of the season as the top-ranked team in the Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep football poll when the Chargers play second-ranked Capistrano Valley at 7:30 Friday night.
The game marks the first time the county’s mythical champion will be decided on the field in the final week of the regular season.
El Toro and Capistrano Valley have been the top-ranked teams in the county for three weeks.
