Master’s, Cal Lutheran Meet in District 3 Soccer Playoffs

The Master’s College will play host to Cal Lutheran today in a National Assn. of Intercollegiate Athletics district 3 soccer semifinal match at 1 p.m.
The winner will advance to Saturday’s district championship against either Biola or Westmont, which play today at Westmont in the other semifinal.
Master’s (15-4-3), ranked 13th in the NAIA, defeated Cal Lutheran (11-6-1), 4-3, earlier this season.
In the NCAA Division II playoffs, Cal State Northridge (10-4-4) has a bye in Saturday’s first round. The Matadors will play either Cal State Hayward or Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in the West region final on either Friday, Nov. 17, or Saturday, Nov. 18, at a site to be determined.
