Scout Leader Admitted Molesting 100, Trial Is Told

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. — A former scoutmaster on trial for the alleged sexual abuse of one of his troop members confessed to molesting more than 100 children, a psychiatrist testified Friday.
Thomas Hacker, 52, of Burbank, Ill., is accused of abusing 11 boys between 1984 and 1988. He is on trial in Cook County Circuit Court for allegedly molesting one youth, now a 14-year-old sophomore.
