Intel Corp.: The Santa Clara, Calif., producer of microcomputer chips said 1989 full-year net income dropped 13.7% to $391 million, while revenue rose 9% to a record $3.1 billion. The firm blamed the closure of two of its oldest chip fabrication plants in part for the drop in earnings.
