Azusa : Zoning Curbs Proposed
Complaints about parking, trash, traffic and security have prompted the City Council to consider zoning regulations for swap meets, flea markets, antique stores and pawn shops at its Feb. 6 meeting.
The proposal would require all existing swap meets and flea markets and all new pawn shops and antique stores to get city permits. It would require them to have one parking space per vendor, plus one parking space per 100 square feet of floor area, as well as a minimum of 500 square feet of floor area per vendor.
