NEW BRIGHTON, Pa. — The former mayor of this western Pennsylvania town wonders if he lost his campaign for reelection because voters did not read the fine print.
Richard Haddox’s name on the November ballot appeared in a smaller type size than challenger Paul Spickerman’s. Haddox lost by two votes.
Haddox wrote to the Beaver County Board of Elections pointing out the type size difference. He decided not to challenge the outcome, but he suggested that the board investigate the matter and release its findings.
