American sprinter Lee McRae and long jumper Larry Myricks beat weak fields at an indoor track and field meet in Lievin, France.
McRae won the 60-meter sprint in 6.55 seconds. Myricks, the Olympic bronze medalist, leaped 27 feet 8 3/4 inches.
