‘Roger & Me”: Capitalism and a Rabbit

I was distressed to encounter the rabbit slaughter in “Roger & Me” and the goose decapitation in “Story of Women.” Since so many people have begun to extend the circle of their compassion to include other creatures, why doesn’t Calendar begin to list those movies that include obvious cruelty to animals?
