A mild earthquake jolted parts of San Bernardino County on Friday night, but no damage or injuries were reported.
The temblor, which struck at 7:45 p.m., registered magnitude 4.1, officials at the state Office of Emergency Services said.
The epicenter was about six miles northwest of Lake Arrowhead.
Dispatchers at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said they did not feel the tremor. Many area residents also did not notice the quake.
“I didn’t even feel it,” said Debby Chormicle, a clerk at a 7-Eleven store at Crestline. “It didn’t shake anything off the shelves.”
