Some boxing fans who checked into hotels Friday night in order to watch HBO’s special on the Buster Douglas-Mike Tyson fight ended up being disappointed.
Patrons at several Southland hotels said they were getting a movie instead of the fight special at 9:30. A few hotels that have their satellite dishes were picking up an East Coast feed. The special was shown at 9:30 in the East.
