California Commercial Bankshares: The Santa Ana parent company of National Bank of Southern California said net income increased 35% in 1989, to a record $2.5 million from $1.9 million in 1988. Net income for the fourth quarter jumped 36%, to $812,000 from $595,000. Total assets at the end of 1989 stood at $271.5 million, a 37% gain from the $197.9 million reported at the end of 1988.
