East German Workers OK Lufthansa Deal: Employees of the East German airline Interflug gave overwhelming approval to a proposal that West Germany’s Lufthansa airline acquire 26% of Interflug. The two airlines signed a letter of intent last week. The deal must still be approved by the West German Federal Cartel Office.
