DEFENSE DOLLARS: The Cold War may be easing but weapons contracts are still coming to Orange County. . . . On Tuesday, Rockwell got $134.9 million from the Air Force for ICBM guidance systems (D1) and in Newport Beach, Ford Aerospace got $20 million from the Navy to build systems for the HARM missile, which was used in the attack on Libya (D5). . . . Despite the international thaw, missiles “are less affected by what’s going on in Eastern Europe” than conventional ground systems, says consultant Charles E. Grubbs.
