Man Beaten for Refusing to Give Panhandlers 50

CHICAGO — A man who refused to turn over 50 cents to three panhandlers was kicked, beaten and stabbed early Friday, leaving him in critical condition, officials said. Police officers saw three men run from the scene and captured two of them.
