Emerald Homes Sells Divisions: Emerald Homes L.P., a Phoenix-based limited partnership that designs, builds and markets single-family homes, said it sold its California and Texas operating divisions to Sun Valley-based Verit Industries for an undisclosed amount. Emerald, which is believed to have had close ties with embattled Phoenix businessman Charles H. Keating Jr., said it will continue home-building operations in the depressed Arizona market.
