Gibraltar May Be Sold by June: The Resolution Trust Corp., the government agency formed to mop up the savings and loan mess, has put Simi Valley-based Gibraltar on a list of 11 large institutions that it hopes by sell by the end of June. A sale of Gibraltar has been long anticipated since it was seized by regulators a year ago.
