Supreme Court Upholds Stay of Execution for Harris

You’re right. It almost happened at 3 a.m. Justice almost occurred. I can hear Harris laughing at us and rightfully so. The old saying, “The law is an ass,” has never been more relevant. This piece of garbage has been making a mockery of our criminal law system for 12 years, through 20 appeals. You ask what would have been accomplished beyond Harris’ death? For starters, it would guarantee that Harris would never murder again. Let’s not forget this is Harris’ third murder. As it stands now, Harris can still kill again while in prison, or God forbid, if he ever escapes.
When is the American public going to wake up and streamline its criminal law system? A convicted murderer should be allowed one appeal on as many grounds as his attorney deems relevant--and that’s it!
