New Ad Compensation Plan: DDB Needham Worldwide revealed portions of a new “guaranteed results” compensation plan by which it would be paid by its clients. Under the new plan--which is optional for clients--the New York agency would scrap its traditional 15% commission system. It will be replaced with a plan under which the agency could make less than 10% commissions on ad campaigns that fail to meet specific sales goals, and up to 20% on highly successful campaigns.
