WORLD IN BRIEF : MIDEAST : Israelis Kill 2 Boys on War Anniversary

Israeli soldiers shot and killed two boys in the West Bank as Palestinians in the occupied territories observed a general strike on the anniversary of the Six-Day War. The 1967 war led to Israeli occupation of the land. Ahmed Salama, 10, was killed when soldiers fired rubber bullets to disperse stone throwers in the Askar refugee camp, an army spokesman said. In Nablus, soldiers opened fire on a group of masked youths, killing Rami Quamhieh, 14, and wounding three others, Palestinian and military sources said.
