FULLERTON — A tip from a concerned sister led police Tuesday to the body of a 27-year-old accountant who was apparently stabbed to death in his apartment, police said.
Police Sgt. Glenn Deveney said the victim was identified as Mark Tomasulo, who shared an apartment on the 2400 block of Nutwood Avenue with a 19-year-old man whose whereabouts were not immediately known.
Deveney said that police received a call shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday from Michelle Fredrickson of Fullerton, who requested that officers check on the welfare of her brother because he had not been seen or heard from since Saturday.
Police went to the Nutwood address and found Tomasulo’s body bearing stab wounds, Deveney said.
Police said the victim reportedly worked as an accountant for Beckman Instruments and had not been at his job for two days.
