A ‘Special Assignment’: Former NBC News correspondent Ken Brode and Brooks Jackson, a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter from the Wall Street Journal, will make their debuts with Cable News Network’s new investigative unit, “Special Assignment,” this week. The two are doing a five-part probe into the savings-and-loan industry.
