Ted Williams, Hank Aaron and Ben Hogan were not exactly warm personalities, but they set records and earned the full respect of all sports fans.
Nick Faldo is one hell of a talented golfer and no amount of biting Jim Murray sarcasm is going to change the fact that this young Briton is a classy gentleman and credit to the game.
