Barbie Book Deal: Children’s book publisher Price Stern Sloan said it has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Mattel Inc. to produce a series of Barbie books. The company said it plans to introduce the line in 1991. Price Stern Sloan signed a similar agreement last month with Walt Disney to produce an electronic wand and six books based on Disney characters.
