Highland Talk a Longshot Winner

ELMONT, N.Y. —  Highland Talk held off Dance Colony for a narrow victory in Wednesdalead through the final yards to win Wednesday’s $116,600 Gazelle Handicap for 3-year-old fillies on the opening day of Belmont’s fall meeting. She Can finished third. The winner covered the 1 1/8 miles in 1:50 4/5 and paid $89.40 to win.
