Registration Begins for College for Kids

COSTAS MESA — Children from the third to eighth grades are invited to sign up for special classes at Orange Coast College this fall.
College for Kids includes classes such as conversational Spanish, speed reading, spelling, grooming and appearance, cartooning and modeling. Most classes meet on Saturdays and last from five to seven weeks.
Registration is under way at Orange Coast’s Community Service Office in the Student Center Building.
Tuition varies. For example, Spanish courses cost $120 including textbooks and tapes, the cartooning class costs $31 and the modeling class costs $39.
Parents are encouraged to register their children early and escort them to the first session. For information, call (714) 432-5880.
