Antelope Valley 43, Burroughs (Ridgecrest) 6--Junior tailback Freddy Edwards rushed for 245 yards in 19 carries and scored four touchdowns to carry Antelope Valley (27, 1-3)

The game was called with 3:35 left when John Wood of Burroughs suffered a neck injury and was taken to the hospital. The extent of the injury was unknown.

Edwards scored on runs of 84, 73 and 31 yards and caught a 32-yard touchdown pass from Garrett Dow. It was Antelope Valley’s only pass completion of the game and its first touchdown pass of the season.
