Judge Sets Milken Sentencing: The sentencing of Michael Milken, former head of Drexel Burnham Lambert Inc.’s junk bond department, will take place Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Kimba Wood announced. Milken, 44, pleaded guilty in April to six felonies. He faces a maximum sentence of 28 years in prison. The sentencing originally had been set for Oct. 1, but was postponed so that Judge Wood could hear evidence to help her decide Milken’s sentence.
